Léonard Kadid is a French architect and designer based in Paris. From object to architecture, his studio explores the characteristics of matter through clear compositions that can be handed down from generation to generation, focusing on the constructive process and structural experimentation. After studying at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in Switzerland and the École d'Architecture de la Ville et des Territoires in Paris, Léonard Kadid worked with renowned international firms such as Herzog & de Meuron in Basel before setting up his own studio in Paris. In 2022, he was awarded the FD100 French design prize for his Pier collection of solid oak chairs. The same year, his Möja lamp entered the permanent collection of the Mobilier National.
